Friends of Domenic Johansson are not against child protective social services. We support the work of social services in their mission to serve children who are truly abused and neglected. When social services works to protect children who are truly in need, the organization is serving the community in the capacity in which the People had intended.

However, when social services removes children from families simply because the family does not meet an arbitrary threshold based upon opinion, and having nothing whatever to do with abuse or neglect, it is then that social services has lost its way and no longer provides a vital service to the community. When social services becomes more interested in ideologic social engineering, children truly in need of intervention are overlooked and continue to suffer because the vital resources of social services and child protection is squandered on unwarranted cases.
Sadly, this seems to be the current condition of the Sweden's Social Services, and a growing trend in many places throughout the world.

Below is a list of organizations springing up around the world, comprised of concerned citizens such as you, working to refocus the mission of child protective/social services back to serving children who are truly suffering abuse and neglect. This list is new (May 2010) and is in no way exhaustive. If you know of any organization we should add, please email the information to us.
